I'm looking for cheap and creative ways to decorate for the mature 4 Deuces game. Any ideas area welcome. Also, I wanted to know how important is it to play poker at this party. I can set up a table, (it will need to be down the hall away from the main living room and food area). I am afraid that having folks separated they will miss out on significant conversations. Please advise. Thanks.

You don't have to play poker if you do not want to. Some people love setting up a casino, but some spaces don't allow for it. That is just fine. When I decorate for ours, I use black and gold coloring. Some use black and white or black and red. All work well. Go to a dollar store and look for paper goods and party decorations that match your theme. Glitter on the tables is also nice.

Find some 1920's magazine covers to print out and paste over your magazines and lay them around. We have some graphics you can print on our roaring twenties theme page, along with many more ideas:
