I saw in one of your links that the Four Deuces-Tame version could have up to 50 characters with the extra character packets and that you have 3 extra character packets for purchase. However it seems you only have 2 different character packets, which will only be 40 total characters. Am I looking in the wrong place for the extra character packets?

The Four Deuces Mature can have up to 50. The Four Deuces Tame only has 40, unless you use the mature extra character packets. If it is for a moderately conservative group, this would work, but if they are real conservative, I would not do that. There are 10 characters that are just a little racy, which is why there are only 20 extra characters for the tame version. But, as I said, you can use the mature extra characters, with the main game.
