I see a ton of references to a "gambling room" and a "brothel" in peoples part descriptions. But as someone trying to both play and host, all I have read is the Host guide, which doesn't mention either. Is this just people taking the rather thin host guide and adding lots of flavor of their own?

Hosts take the setting and then choose how they want to stage their space. Some do nothing, others go all out. This is why we do not go into detail in the Host Guide and instead refer people to read the forum and our roaring twenties theme page for ideas for their party.
