Roaring success! The Four Deuces Murder Mystery

Postby tubacjoy » November 2nd, 2007, 1:01 pm

My husband and I held the Four Deuces Mystery Party in our home on Halloween evening. It was a roaring success! We had eighteen guests, and every one of them was thrilled with the party. Several of our friends say they are going to host their own mystery party now. The biggest thrill for most of the guests was to get dressed up in costumes and also to see other people's costumes. My guests went ALL OUT! Our Neville, The Nose, Nutella even brought "business cards" he had printed up for himself. I am going to try posting photos of the decorations for "our casino", but perhaps in a subsequent post. We made a Speakeasy door out of old cardboard boxes. My husband built some little "nightclub size tables, and I covered them with plastic cloth. We used strings of Xmas lights to accent the parts of the "casino". I purchased the label cards, IE Blackjack, Craps, etc.. We served dinner - buffet style. We hired a woman to help in serving the guests because we wanted to be able to participate in the game as much as possible. She was a great sport and dressed in costume, also!
I highly recommend this game. Everyone, including us, had a marvelous time!

Thanks for sharing! I moved it to the Murder at the Four Deuces feedback section. If you decide later to post photos and a bigger review, you can post it in the Contest Section.
