Young children present

Postby graci8 » December 19th, 2010, 1:27 am

I'm planning a 30th birthday party for early January with about 20 close friends. They are all very good at acting and would go all out for the murder mystery party. The only thing that I'm wondering about is that many of them do have babies or young children under 5 years old. Does it work to have the kids just hanging around while we do the murder mystery, or will this complicate things? I also don't think the people I'm inviting would be into the "tame" version as they are not conservative at all, but will the regular version scare the kids if they are around? Thanks!

Those are pretty young kids to have hanging around. The fake screams and "gunshots" could very well scare them. Most people get sitters, but alternatively, you could also hire a sitter for the night if you have the room and let the kids all hang out together in a different part of the house. It would make things easier on the parents.
