Hosting and playing

In The Four Deuces what would be the best character for the host to play? I was thinking someone with an important role would be good because I could make sure certain things got done. Would the inspector be the best choice, or maybe Don Wannabe?
Any suggestions?

I think it really depends on how involved your other hosting duties will be. If you are serving food, have a lot of guests, or are one of those hosts that stay busy making sure their guests have everything they need, then we suggest playing a more secondary character to allow you time to do these things. But, if your duties will be very light then you can play any character you want. A lot of hosts choose to play the Don adn MeMe Wannabe roles, as they are the hosts in the game environment. He is also the second in command to the Don, who will be killed quickly. This puts this character in a position of power... possibly
