We set the tone with baroque music playing in the background, fairly lights and loads of candles. Our decor was purple and black with just a hint of Halloween thrown in. Black organza pouches for the money and notepads topped it all off and the scene was set for an awesome evening of intrigue!
A couple of guests arrived late, but it gave the rest an opportunity to mingle and get comfortable. Once the game started, it was a non-stop roller coaster of hushed conversations and wheeling and dealing! Everyone comfortably slipped into character as the colluding began. One guest remarked that it was like being in Survivor!
A neighbor hid the weapon cards (which we have STILL not found - did he just chuck them??), and it was hilarious seeing everyone scurry around in search of them.
This game is a perfect alternative to the usual Halloween celebrations and simple to execute - even for first time role players.
A two thumbs up from South Africa!
