Hey there,

I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for the great work on the immortal murders. I ended up having 21 guests attending and was worried it would take a bit to get into it. Everyone fell into their characters brilliantly and the night was a blast. The weapons and spell cards were a great addition. There was a lot of murder during the night. I finaly ended it at the 5 1/2 hour mark and people were not ready to stop. Everyones been talking about it non stop ever since.

Hi Mary Lee!

The party was a success! It was so much fun ... we all enjoyed the open
nature of it -- no sitting around a table reading scripts We had a few
people that were uncertain about roleplaying, but, the ones that weren't
-- they were so much fun! In particular our Puck and Christy. What fun
characters My friends that were playing them just did such a brilliant
job. Everyone was brilliant. It really was a great night

I do believe we'll be having another of these in the future I think we
all just need some time to recuuperate haha

Dear Mary Lee!

Thank you for all your support on Saturday. The party was a smashing success. Everyone loved it....allthough I think everyone got far more involved in using the murder cards than actually figuring out the original murder....I think they found those even more fun than the other. I definetly hope to see another one like that in the future. I really hope that there will be a really really good couple one for Valentines!!! Looking forward to what you all come up with! Once again, thank you and look foward to another game in Feb.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for everything. Our party was a smashing success! The Immortal Murders were well written and the customer service you offer is absolutely unequalled by any other company. I have hosted other murder mystery parties from other companies in the past, and until now I have never really enjoyed the experience. Everyone had a blast, and they are eagerly awaiting next year's party - they are demanding that I purchase another kit from you. Is there any chance that you are planning a sequel to "The Immortal Murders?" Most of my guests said that their favorite thing about the party was the characters they got to play....they would really like a chance to play them again.

I played this game for my 40th bday party with over 60 guests. So I did have the additional character packs and played in three groups (the game was happening three times in parallel) as per the advice given by the owner of the company. She was super helpful by the way - got back to me quickly and it's so nice to get a personal answer rather than a standard one!

It being a costume ball meant that people could wear whatever they wanted but most of my guest went to town with dressing up which was awesome. See the photos.

There were plenty of twists and turns (loved the weapons cards and spell cards - they were a real laugh) and kept everyone on their toes. It also wasn't so easy to work out who the murderer was so the majority didn't get it right. Made the ones that worked it out that much more special. And everyone loved the certificates.

Everything about this game is so well organized. The checklists, the labels, the certificates, you name it. Really impressed (I am German so I do like a well-organized thing!).

If you are playing with such a larger number though I would suggest to recruit some help as the host or have more than one host. I lost track of the murders that were going on and was rushed off my feet all night.

I did love the flexibility of the game - in numbers, locations, type of food, it works around whatever you need it to. Unfortunately, I managed to lose my run through sheet early on during the party but fortunately had read them carefully beforehand so managed to muddle my way through. Definitely worth reading everything thoroughly beforehand as there is a lot that needs to happen from the host side!

The party was a huge hit with all of my guests and even though it was organized chaos and not everyone knew what was going on, everyone had a ball. And that's the main thing. I am already thinking who I can play this with again to use the game again as we enjoyed it so much. We'll definitely be back for more! Shall have a look through the other games soon!

PS: I hid a weapons card clue inside a washing up sponge (just cut a hole in it with a knife) and then put it into a bowl with loads of other sponges - great hiding place and not all teams found it! I felt very smug with that one! haha!
