Only 4 Males for Four Deuces

Postby melb444 » March 18th, 2007, 5:02 pm

I have only 10 people coming to my party and 4 are males and 6 are females. How can I assign all 5 required Male characters? Can Big Jim's second character be one of the main 5 or is he suppose to be a secondary character?

Please email me off the forum so that I will not tell you to assign a character & people realize that he cannot be the murderer.

I have a similar problem as Melb44. I have a total of 15 people that are supposed to come. I have now learned that 3 may not show up. I have 12 positively coming and they break down to 6 Males and 6 Females. Those that may or may not come are 2 males and 1 female. Please tell me which 15 of the 20 characters I should assign and which 3 of those should be assigned to the ones that may or may not come.

I am playing as well and while I know there are some things that are going to be revealed tome I do not want to read all the character booklets and learn to much.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Just use your Guest List Worksheet to assign your characters. You have more than the bare minimum, even without the extras showing up, so you will have no problems at all.

Thank you so much Mary, I wish I had found your kits years ago!

BTW just to let everyone know, when you get your kit do not get so excited you forget to read everything before you ask questions as I did. Had I done that I would have figured out the answer to my question and most other questions you can come up with. Mary has included just about anything you can think of!!!

We have been planning this for over a month! We found a local costume shop that rents and sells costumes and accessories, for local theatres at very reasonable prices, and was able to put together great costumes. We used eBay to purchase items cheaply for decorations. I was able to purchase a 1920 wooden whiskey barrel for around $25.00 and an authentic 1920 Budwieser beer bottle wooden case very cheap! These along with some other purchases and a visit to the local "Party Source" store has allowed us to turn our basement into a makeshift Speakeasy. We are so excited for the date to finally be getting here. The party is this Saturday and we have a total of 16 coming, all very excited to play their parts. I will send an update and pictures next week.

We have put a lot into this and are looking forward to the event. We have also already come up with ideas and are planning our next party. Now that we have a lot of the basics we needed for the dinner party set up, we are working on setting up a Casino for the next one.
