Scavenger Hunt

I have not purchased yet, but keep reading about a scavenger hunt. I would like to try hosting a party via chat (like twitter or a chatroom type thing) so I dont think I can use the scavenger hunt for this. Would it still be worth it to purchase the game?

Sure it would. You can also just have to host/ess draw weapon cards or you can opt not to even use them. This is not a required part of the game.
