Postby 2coolbaby » November 20th, 2004, 7:51 pm

Here is a list of very popular 1920's cocktail recipes:

There is a recipe called Pink Murder that could be called Bathtub Gin! There is also the very popular at the time recipe for Mint Julep.

Missing link

Postby Tommy » May 13th, 2006, 2:05 pm

The page mentioned in the previous post appears to be missing. :?: Has it moved? Is there another place to find the same or a similar list of recipes for 1920s cocktails?

Thanks,
Thomas

That is beyond strange. My whole recipes folder disappeared and there is no way that should ever happen. I have a programmer working on my rsvp system, so maybe he accidentally removed it. Far fetched, but I cannot imagine any other reason for it to vanish like that. It is all back now and I really do appreciate you letting me know it wasn't there.

I was wondering about the Pink Murder cocktail, I can nowhere find Rasberry Gingerale, but they do have Cranberry. Would this work?

Thanks! :)

It probably would, or alternatively you could possibly mix some raspberry crystal light with some plain ginger ale or seltzer water. I am thinking that this is what we did New Year's Eve, but since I didn't do the mixing, I can't say absolutely

The amount of country time or crystal light lemonade needed to make 2 quarts. That is usually one package, tube or small plastic tub.
