CD or Video??

Postby 2coolbaby » June 1st, 2006, 9:26 am

I had a customer post the following question and I wanted to answer it:

I really like the idea of your 'murder at the 4 deuces' game, and noticed in the shopping section that there was also a cd that you could add. Is this with scene-setting introduction etc, or is it just the game again in another format? The only downside to many of theseonline murder mystery games is that there is no cassette/video involved.

The CD is just a copy of the kit on CD. While you state that the downside of many of the mysteries is that there is no CD or video, I don't think you understand that these run differently from those kits that require those items.

Those kits were what you would call old school games, when a murder mystery game was played more like game night with scripts, people going in rounds etc... Ours play like real life. You do not want a script or a CD telling you what you must being doing at any specific time. It confines people and doesn't leave them free to experience what is really fun about an interactive party... scheming, plotting and creating general mischief!

Would you rather a script or CD tell you that your character was blackmailing another character? Or would you rather have actually been blackmailing that character at the party & dealing with how they reacted to that blackmail? IE: Watch your back!!!

Over the last 15 years I have played many murder mysteries and I still do. By a LONG shot, a scripted party cannot begin to compare in terms of how much fun everyone has to an interactive party! Don't get me wrong the scripted parties can be pleasant, but they don't have the WOW factor everyone gets from an interactive one.

It is a really good idea to view these forum topics for a better explaination: ... .php?t=251 ... .php?t=271

CD or a compact disk store the data in it at a maximum of 680 gigs bytes it has high and low sides in it. The use of royalessays is to store the movies, films, or videos in it for later use.
