Those were wonderful! You guys were really imaginative and put in some hard work. It was a great castle when you got finished. I would never have thought of making stained glass windows like you did, nor of lining wall with paper and making castle walls.

We would really appreciate it if you could post a couple tips for pulling off your masterpiece for those who are looking to throw this party.

Decoration ideas

The stained glass windows were incredibly easy (and cheap!) to make. We colored coffee filters with regular crayola markers. Then we spritzed them to water to make the colors bleed! Blot them with a sheet of paper and you get some really cool effects!!!

The grey paper used for the castle walls was ordered on line. We tried looking in art supply stores, but they didn't carry them. It makes for really easy clean up too, since everything was just taped up!

We also painted all of our chandelier/light covers to add cool lighting effects.
